The second half supplied cards rather than goals: yellow cards went to Miguel Aguirre, Mark Mcgregor and Peter Jansen, following Phillip Lewis’s booking just before the break. Newton Stanley matched Saltham County for corners and even attempted more dribbles, but those details could not disguise the absence of shots. For Saltham County, the afternoon was not merely a five-goal win; it was a convincing demonstration of what happens when finishing, chance creation and defensive control all arrive for the same fixture.
