For Bothes, the scoreline was the product of both volume and execution: eight goals from an estimated five xG, with four players among the scorers and Lewis Taylor and Jose Patiño each adding two assists. Newton Stanley had the ball more often, but only briefly turned that control into danger. The 0 - 8 result leaves little room for ambiguity; the visitors were markedly more threatening, and the hosts’ possession did not prevent the afternoon from becoming a long exercise in retrieving the ball.
