Hedge United 1 - 5 Laund Park

Laund Park beat Hedge United 5-1 in Division 8 League 35, turning a furious opening spell into a result that was settled before the match had properly found its coat. Pedro Chagas scored three and assisted twice, while Hedge United had the ball slightly more often and spent much of the afternoon discovering that possession is not a substitute for keeping the ball out of one’s own net.

Hedge United: No standout performers rated 7.0 or higher.

Laund Park:

Pedro Chagas (9.4) - Scored three goals and supplied two assists, shaping nearly every decisive moment.
Philippe Robert (7.8) - Scored once and assisted twice, helping Laund Park race into its early lead.
Seungwoo Jeong (7.3) - Scored Laund Park’s fourth and assisted Pedro Chagas after the break.

The final 5-1 score was emphatic, and the match’s early sequence explains why: Laund Park scored four times before Hedge United had made its reply. The hosts did find a goal and recorded eight shots on target, but the gap between those efforts and the visitors’ sharper finishing was decisive. Laund Park left with the points, an outstanding return from Pedro Chagas, and a first half that had made any later suspense largely administrative.
