For Medbury United, two goals from two shots made for an unusually efficient afternoon, but efficiency could not compensate for the scarcity of attempts. Ston United had the broader attacking case and enough quality to convert it into a 4-2 win, with Pedro Chagas and Nilson Pires especially prominent in the scoring sequence. The visitors’ margin reflected both their four goals and the pressure behind them; the hosts’ two goals ensured the contest had some life, even if the shot totals were busy explaining where it was headed.
