Marlbrigay’s 3-1 lead after Xinping Boon’s goal in the 55th minute looked substantial, but the match had already shown how quickly its balance could shift. Jorge Alvez replied just three minutes after Hong’s second, and Ram Rovers then reduced the gap again through Pires in the 68th. The hosts registered 14 tackles to the visitors’ four, while possession and pass accuracy were nearly even; the numbers point to contrasting defensive activity, not a clear command of the ball by either side. Ram Rovers made its pressure count when Pires found the net again five minutes from time. For Marlbrigay, the two-goal cushion became a two-goal reminder that the work was not finished.
