The opening goal arrived in the 36th minute, after both sides had already collected a caution; Brandon Kelly converted Jose Lopes’s assist to give Kinch Villa a lead that reflected their greater threat. The match remained 1-0 until Dragan Softić scored in the 62nd minute, but the pause in the scoring was not a shift in control. Three minutes later, Kelly struck again, this time assisted by Giovanni Fuentes, and Bent Friis completed the scoring in the 82nd minute from Carlos Romano’s assist.

The 4-0 scoreline was emphatic, and the underlying numbers explain why: Kinch Villa put pressure on goal repeatedly, while New Leigh never tested the target. The visitors did record more corners and dribbles, but neither statistic translated into a shot on target. For Kinch Villa, the late fourth goal neatly settled a match already decided by their finishing and New Leigh’s lack of a meaningful reply.
