The match was punctuated by a series of tactical skirmishes and moments of individual brilliance, with the expected goals (xG) figures reflecting a game that was closer than the scoreline suggests—1.73 for Wads City and 1.93 for Hayeste Park. The visitors edged the xG tally, hinting at a slight overperformance in front of goal, while Wads City’s resilience kept them in the game. The game’s flow was disrupted by a couple of yellow cards, but neither side could find the decisive edge, despite a flurry of shots and a fair share of dribbles. The game’s narrative was less about the quality of chances and more about the stubbornness of defences and the occasional lapse in concentration.

As the final whistle blew, both teams could reflect on a match that was as much about effort as finesse. Hayeste Park’s slightly superior possession and shot count gave them the edge in territorial terms, but Wads City’s timely goals kept the game balanced. With no red cards and a handful of yellow cards, discipline was maintained, but the game’s true story was written in missed opportunities and the resilience of both sides. This fixture might not have delivered a classic, but it certainly kept the league table interesting—at least until the next round.

No players from Wads City or Hayeste Park reached the 7.0+ threshold, but Philippe Robert (6.8) was lively and created the equalizer, while Nilson Pires (6.7) scored a crucial goal and looked dangerous throughout. Pedro Chagas (6.9) also contributed a goal, showing his importance in the visitors’ attack. The rest of the players performed steadily, with no glaring weaknesses or standout brilliance.
