Expected Goals (xG) Analysis: Britch United scored seven from 3.66 xG, an over-performance of 3.34 goals; Bat Ive Town scored six from 3.7 xG, beating its estimate by 2.3. The chance-quality figures were almost level, and the shot counts were close too, with Bat Ive Town attempting 17 to Britch United’s 15. The extraordinary difference was the finishing: 14 home shots and 13 away shots were on target, and both sides converted at a rate far above the chances’ expected value. That points to ruthless execution on both sides, but also to a match in which defensive resistance had a short and largely ceremonial appearance.
The opening ten minutes set the pace: Bat Ive Town scored twice after Francesco Bartolini opened the account, while Mariano Rinaldi briefly brought Britch United level. Britch United answered with two goals from Marinko Subašić before the break, only for Noe Espinosa to restore the visitors’ advantage at 43'. The second half kept the same loose arrangement with suspense. Goals from Jorge Guzman, Baba Teo, Rinaldi, Subašić and Emanuel Vale made the score 6-6 before Rinaldi struck again at 74' to settle it. Britch United had the win, though not the luxury of treating it as settled early.
