The decisive spell arrived before the interval. Ruben Rodriguez struck in the ninth minute, and Souleymane Seck followed a minute later, turning a promising start into a two-goal lead before Uptock Park could settle the match. Rodriguez scored again in the 23rd minute, then Vladimir Bašić made it four in the 37th. By the time Seck was booked at 42', the visitors had already done the most consequential work.
Stephen Thomas added the fifth in the 51st minute, and the later booking for Alfonso Torres arrived amid a game whose main question had long since been answered. Uptock Park did win the corners count 5-2 and had more possession, but those small advantages sat alongside the far larger gap in shots and shots on target. Chury United were efficient without needing to be lucky, and Uptock Park were left with the awkward arithmetic of five conceded goals and too few chances to reply.
