The visitors' 13 shots, 12 on target, suggest a clinical edge, while Cirfiell City’s possession dominance and higher corner count failed to translate into goals. The yellow cards, especially the four handed out to Sketforth, underscored a game played with intensity and a touch of frustration. Cirfiell City’s resilience was evident in their second goal, but ultimately, Sketforth’s sharper finishing and tactical discipline earned them the three points. Both teams will reflect on missed chances and disciplinary lapses, but for now, Sketforth can celebrate a hard-fought win that keeps their league ambitions alive.
