The final score was emphatic, and the balance of the chances makes it difficult to find comfort for Mindon-upon Town in the possession figures alone. Somerridge’s early burst settled the contest before the half-hour, while the goals from Allan Johnsen, Ian Blair and Martinez ensured the second half was not merely a long administrative period. The visitors had more of the ball and more corners, but Somerridge produced 16 shots to one and put 14 of those efforts on target. Six goals from a 3.75 xG return will not be a standard to demand every week; it is, however, a very good way to spend this one.
