No Amerwich United players recorded a rating of 7.0 or higher.
For Wincarkby Forest, the result will be remembered as a five-goal win, but the route to it was more complicated than that margin suggests. Amerwich United matched the hosts for possession, completed passes more accurately and put far more shots on target; the visitors had enough attacking presence to make the scoreline uncomfortable until late on. Yet each time the match threatened to tilt, Wincarkby Forest found another finish. John Kelly’s goal at 86 minutes restored the two-goal cushion and made the final score 5-3, with the hosts’ efficiency proving the most consequential statistic of all.
