The five-goal margin was built on more than a hot spell in front of goal. Bexton United led 3-0 by half-time, with Colombo assisting the first two and David Webb converting another before the interval. Henckton kept the ball more often and completed passes at a higher rate, but those advantages did not translate into enough attempts to alter the match. The visitors also had 11 dribbles to the hosts’ seven; the numbers describe activity, though not the sort that troubled the scoreboard.

After the interval, Colombo added a goal of his own, assisted by Franke, and Rossi completed his brace in the 84th minute. The second half therefore brought two more goals rather than a change in direction. With five goals from five different moments of contribution and a clean sheet despite Henckton putting three shots on target, Bexton United delivered a convincing win. The possession figures may invite a second look; the final score, less so.
