For Bister City, the decisive feature was the conversion of a large shot advantage into a comfortable final margin; for Midge City, possession and corners did not translate into enough attempts to keep pace. Both sides found the net twice before the interval, but Bister City’s response after half-time gave the game its clear shape. The final score was 5-2: an entertaining first half, followed by a second in which the hosts supplied the goals and the visitors were left with the corners.
