Expected Goals (xG) Analysis:

Despite the close xG figures, Barret County’s efficiency in front of goal proved decisive. Their 17 shots on target translated into five goals, slightly overperforming their xG, which indicates clinical finishing and effective attacking transitions. Conversely, Halverifforth’s 16 on-target shots matched their xG, but their inability to convert more chances ultimately cost them the match. Tactical discipline and sharp finishing from the hosts allowed them to capitalize on their opportunities, while Halverifforth’s resilience kept the game competitive until the final whistle.

No players reached the 7.0+ threshold for standout performance, but several made notable contributions. Gilles Hoarau (8.1/10) was instrumental, netting twice and providing an assist, demonstrating his attacking threat. Claus Berg (7.6/10) scored twice, showing clinical finishing. Fode Ba (7.0/10) contributed two assists, orchestrating much of Barret County’s creative play. For Halverifforth, Jose Agudelo (7.3/10) scored twice despite a yellow card, and Coulibaly Cisse (7.3/10) also impressed with a goal and an assist, both showing resilience and attacking intent. Jose Agudelo’s all-around effort was particularly notable given his early booking.

The match was a vibrant display of attacking football, tactical discipline, and resilience, with Barret County ultimately edging out Halverifforth United through clinical finishing and strategic execution.
