For a stretch, Barkeld Park had the match in its hands: after Yunkoo Rim put Norough City ahead, Niels Andersen and Keith Gray turned the score around before the break. The reply was prompt, though. Carlos Centurion levelled six minutes into the second half, and Ousmane Diop supplied the goal that settled it ten minutes later. The hosts had nine corners to the visitors’ two, but set-piece volume offered no substitute for the visitors’ far greater stream of attempts. Norough City leave with the points; Barkeld Park leave with two goals, a lively spell before half-time, and a statistical reminder that the scoreboard does not always tell the whole story.
