The early response from Stonbor County deserves notice: after conceding twice, Saliou Sow and Xinping Boon brought the score level by the 16th minute. But that recovery rested on just two goals from four attempts, while Axbrield Wanderers had the pressure and chances to keep asking questions. Tiago Louro scored again before half-time, then added another shortly after the break; his two goals and three assists made him the match’s defining figure.

There was no shortage of activity after that, just a shortage of suspense. Axbrield Wanderers added three more goals, with Liber Cardozo and Wolfgang Schmid among the scorers, while the visitors collected three yellow cards and Stonbor County one. The final 2 - 7 was a heavy defeat for Stonbor County, despite its sharp spell in the opening minutes; Axbrield Wanderers paired near-even possession with a decisive advantage in threat, and the score followed that distinction.
