Expected Goals (xG) Analysis: Miltok’s six goals came from 5.93 xG, a near-perfect match between the chances created and the finishing returned. That is less a case of an unlikely scoring spree than of a side converting the volume its performance earned: 26 shots, 22 on target, and 56% possession gave the hosts a substantial supply of opportunities. Ashoutton scored three from 2.49 xG, also finishing above its chance estimate, though by a wider margin. The visitors were dangerous enough to punish Miltok, with nine of their 11 shots on target, but the disparity in shot volume points to the central tactical problem: Ashoutton could make its attacks count, while Miltok kept producing more of them. The three-goal margin was supported by the underlying chance balance, even if the visitors’ three goals ensured the afternoon was not entirely a one-sided exercise.
Miltok’s first-half burst settled the main question of who controlled the match, but Ashoutton’s response after the break kept the contest alive in patches. The visitors had fewer shots and less of the ball, yet converted enough of their chances to make Miltok remain alert; the home side’s final goal at 89' then restored a three-goal cushion and completed the six. Miltok’s 86% pass accuracy, compared with Ashoutton’s 80%, also fits a picture of the hosts moving the ball more cleanly while building their greater share of the attack.
For Ashoutton, Venko Todorov supplied the most convincing answer to Miltok’s early scoring, finding the net twice, while the team’s 11 tackles and five corners showed that it did not simply disappear from the contest. But five goals conceded before half-time left too much repair work for the second half. Miltok, meanwhile, turned a commanding start into a 6-3 win without needing to rely on a freakish finishing night: the chances were there, and the goals mostly followed. The closing scoreline was emphatic, but the figures make it look earned rather than accidental.
