The game’s narrative was largely written in the first half, as Sherhiel Forest took a commanding lead within the first 15 minutes. Stuart Wilson opened the scoring in the 10th minute, expertly finishing a pass from Genaro Rodriguez. Just five minutes later, Rodriguez himself doubled the advantage with a well-placed strike. The floodgates truly opened when Pedro Araujo scored in the 20th minute, assisted by Paulo Oliveira, who also contributed to the fifth goal late in the match. The hosts’ attacking trio of Rodriguez, Oliveira, and James proved particularly effective, each earning ratings above 7.0 for their contributions. Burnhampsh’s defensive line was repeatedly breached, and their inability to threaten the goal was reflected in their negligible xG of 0.01, compared to Sherhiel Forest’s 4.1.

Tactically, Sherhiel Forest’s high possession and pass accuracy allowed them to dictate play, while their aggressive pressing limited Burnhampsh’s opportunities. The visitors’ 13 fouls and lack of shots on target highlighted their frustration and defensive fragility. Sherhiel Forest’s ability to maintain composure and execute their game plan was evident, especially as they added a sixth goal in the 79th minute through Oliveira, sealing the match comfortably. The yellow card for Carlos Furtado in the second half was a minor blemish on an otherwise disciplined display. Burnhampsh’s inability to generate any serious chances or threaten the goal exemplifies the gulf in quality on the day, with Sherhiel Forest’s cohesive team effort ultimately prevailing.
