The 5 - 0 result was supported by a substantial advantage in possession and shots on target, not merely by a brief spell of clinical fortune. Sevill City also completed 87% of their passes, compared with Sawton Albion’s 82%, and turned that control into repeated attempts at goal. The visitors did manage three shots on target, but their 0.86 xG and blank scoreline reflect how little those efforts changed the match. Sevill City picked up three yellow cards, so the afternoon was not entirely free of admin; still, the most consequential figures were five goals and a game effectively settled before half-time.
