Four goals separated the sides, with Morton City scoring once shortly after the first booking and then adding three more, including two in the 90th minute. Aclegistow had the larger share of possession, more corners, more dribbles and more tackles, but those numbers could not compensate for the absence of a shot. The visitors’ 79% pass accuracy was lower than the hosts’ 83%, yet their greater attacking output gave that difference little practical importance.

The late pair of goals made the final margin emphatic, but the underlying imbalance had been present well before then: Morton City created the only shots and the only substantial xG. Aclegistow did enough in possession to keep the ball moving, not to trouble the visitors’ goal. For Morton City, four goals and 13 efforts on target supplied a clear return; for Aclegistow, the afternoon’s most stubborn statistic was the one that never moved from zero.
