The numbers describe a match in which the ball was shared, but the danger was not. Boss-upon City recorded more dribbles and corners, yet Systergh had the sharper attacking returns and the much heavier workload for the opposing defence. Four away goals were no statistical accident, and the late finish gave a decisive result its final, rather tidy punctuation.
