The 7 - 0 result was built on a striking split between control of the ball and control of the danger. Croston County edged possession and pass accuracy, and won more corners, yet finished with zero shots. Oaksowes were less involved in possession but repeatedly turned their attacks into efforts on target, then kept scoring after the contest had already tilted heavily in their favour. The three Oaksowes yellow cards added a more untidy note to an otherwise emphatic afternoon; the final score, at least, was very tidy.
