The break did not restore much order for Thoe Rangers: Souryne Rangers scored three times between the 49th and 58th minutes, then added two more before the final quarter-hour had run its course. The seven-goal margin was not the product of overwhelming possession, nor of a steady parade of corners; it came from a 13-shot target count and ruthless finishing. Two late yellow cards for the visitors were the final entries in a match whose main question had long been settled. Souryne Rangers leave with the points and a remarkable return against their xG; Thoe Rangers leave with the less comfortable task of finding a way to create more than one attempt.
