Newporouth’s lead was built early, with Cedeño scoring in the 12th and 18th minutes, then extended rapidly after the interval as Pires and Monteiro found the net three minutes apart. Victor Abubakar made it five in the 70th minute. Ivan Balić’s goal six minutes later gave Burnhatfor a reply, but Monteiro’s second restored the six-goal Newporouth total in the 89th. Burnhatfor’s five corners and eight dribbles show that the visitors did create moments of activity; the difficulty was turning those moments into enough chances to keep pace with a side that put pressure on goal throughout. At 6-1, the final margin reflects both Newporouth’s repeated threat and its efficiency, while Burnhatfor’s goal offered little more than a brief interruption.
