St Dart beat Sougham Rovers 4-3 in Division 3 League 1, surviving a match that changed direction often enough to require its own traffic signals. The possession and passing figures were close, but the styles were not quite mirror images: St Dart attempted more dribbles and made more tackles, while Sougham Rovers took more shots and earned more corners. The visitors also committed twice as many fouls and collected four yellow cards to St Dart’s one, a record of greater disruption without a red card to complicate matters further. After Sougham Rovers moved ahead, St Dart found a way back; after the visitors levelled again at 3-3, Baxter settled it three minutes from time. A 4-3 result leaves little room for a quiet conclusion, but the late winner made the last word St Dart’s.
