Sawelem Villa 9 - 0 Hayland Ble

The nine goals arrived in a steady sequence, beginning with Marco Yu after two minutes and ending with Edik Megrelishvili in the 78th. Yu completed a hat-trick, and Megrelishvili scored twice; the rest of the scoring was shared among Dieter Huber, John Skou, Francisco Ruiz and Lorenzo Pucci. The early breakthrough was followed by another Yu goal in the 11th minute, but the decisive stretch around half-time turned a commanding lead into something far beyond ordinary match control.

The chance-quality figures put the result in perspective, though not in the usual way. Sawelem Villa recorded 5.15 xG and scored nine, an extraordinary return of 3.85 goals above the estimate; Hayland Ble produced 0.26 xG and finished without a goal. The hosts’ 24 shots, including 18 on target, gave their finishing plenty of opportunity to run ahead of the model. Their 56% possession and 85% pass accuracy also point to sustained control, while the visitors’ single attempt on target left little prospect of changing the course of the afternoon. This was not merely a case of clinical conversion: Sawelem Villa created pressure repeatedly and kept turning it into goals.

There was a brief pause in the scoring at 35 minutes, when Koichi Kawase received Hayland Ble’s only recorded yellow card. Sawelem Villa then scored twice just before the break and once immediately after it, making the interval a theoretical rather than practical boundary between halves. The hosts added three more after the restart, with Ruiz contributing two assists and Yu adding his third goal. Hayland Ble did record more dribbles, 15 to seven, but that isolated advantage did not translate into attacking volume or a goal. On this evidence, the scoreline was not an overstatement of the balance of play; if anything, it was the most efficient summary available.
