Epstley Rangers had no standout performers rated 7.0 or higher. The scoreline was a clear reflection of the difference in attacking output: the hosts were accurate with their limited attempts, but Newkinforough created more and converted often enough to make the result emphatic. A late goal from Felipe Pereira, assisted by Alexander Roberts, restored the three-goal margin after the hosts had briefly reduced it. Newkinforough finished with the win and the stronger chance profile; possession, on this occasion, was mostly an elegant way to watch the visitors do more with the ball.
