For Tickbury Hotspur, the five corners and 13 dribbles offered scraps of activity, but neither translated into a shot on target. Their pass accuracy was slightly higher than the visitors’, yet Newes United needed no possession advantage to turn territory and chances into goals. Four yellow cards were shared evenly; the more consequential numbers were the eight goals and the single shot from the hosts.

The match’s decisive spell began with Camacho’s 32nd-minute opener and gathered pace quickly: three more goals arrived before the break, then the visitors added four after it. Rado Hodžić finished with a hat-trick, while Orlando Rojas scored twice, and the assists were spread across the scoring run. Newes United leave with an 8-0 win built on shot volume, sharp finishing and a lead that kept growing; Tickbury Hotspur leave with the rather less welcome evidence of how little equal possession can protect a side when the chances are so unequal.
