The game was characterized by a stark contrast in shot quality and possession. Sousey Villa created a total of 15 shots, 13 on target, with an expected goals tally of 3.49, indicating they were slightly fortunate not to score more. Bastoniton, on the other hand, managed just one shot, which was on target, and an xG of only 0.26. Bastoniton’s possession was higher at 57%, but their inability to translate control into meaningful chances was evident. The hosts capitalized on their opportunities, with Paulo Roque scoring in the 39th minute and again in the 56th, before completing his hat-trick in the 87th. Bastoniton’s defensive frailties were compounded by a series of yellow cards, which disrupted their rhythm and contributed to their inability to mount any serious threat.

Despite Bastoniton’s higher possession and pass accuracy, their failure to threaten the goal was glaring. Sousey Villa’s disciplined pressing and sharp finishing proved decisive, with their goalkeeper making nine saves to keep the visitors at bay. The game’s key moments—Roque’s opening goal, followed by Stephen’s strike and Roque’s second—highlighted the hosts’ ruthlessness. Bastoniton’s players, notably Guzman, Müller, and Urra, received yellow cards, reflecting their frustration and the game’s physical nature. Ultimately, Villa’s efficiency and disciplined approach earned them a well-deserved victory, reinforcing their position at the top of the league table.

Bastoniton’s best player was not enough to elevate their performance, with no one reaching a 7.0 rating, reflecting their struggles to impose themselves on the game.
