The final 7-0 leaves little doubt about the result, but the figures give the afternoon its stranger detail: Fazion had more possession, corners, dribbles and pass accuracy, yet never managed a shot. Mawestlay did not need to dominate the ball to dominate the match; they turned their opportunities into goals at a rate well beyond the xG estimate, with Semedo central to the scoring and assisting across the evening. Four first-half goals established the scale of the task, and three more after the interval made clear that the contest would not settle into a quieter shape. Fazion’s statistics record activity, but not a route back into the game.
