Ram-on Athletic 0 - 5 Leighton

Leighton won 5-0 at Ram-on Athletic, turning a match in which the hosts had more possession into a clear demonstration that the ball is not obliged to reward its most frequent owner. Five different stages of the game brought five away goals; the scoreboard was not especially interested in the possession statistics.

Wilson Rodriguez (8.1) - Scored twice and assisted Jose Herrera, a decisive return in a match with little need for embellishment.
Jose Herrera (7.6) - Scored twice, including the goal that made it three shortly after half-time.
Raymond Evans (7.0) - Provided two assists, helping turn Leighton’s chances into a five-goal afternoon.

The decisive spell began with Zhe Tang’s 33rd-minute opener and gathered speed around the interval: Wilson Rodriguez scored in the 43rd, then assisted Jose Herrera five minutes later. Rodriguez added his second on the hour, and Herrera completed his brace in the 84th. The sequence left Ram-on Athletic with no reply and Leighton with a victory that was emphatic in both score and chance volume. More possession and better passing accuracy are respectable entries in a match report; five goals, in this case, made the more persuasive argument.
