The figures describe a win built on attacking control, though not on possession so overwhelming that the ball needed a forwarding address. The sides shared the corners and fouls, and Haret Park recorded more dribbles and tackles; those numbers suggest the visitors did compete for the ball, but they could not turn that work into enough danger at goal. Amerwich’s 85% pass accuracy and sharp finishing made its attacks count, while Haret Park’s 79% and two shots on target left little room to alter the afternoon’s direction.

The final 7-1 was emphatic, and the chronology made it increasingly difficult for Haret Park to recover: Amerwich scored twice in the opening 14 minutes, answered the visitors’ goal before half-time, then struck four times in the second half. The result did not depend on a single burst of luck, even if the seven goals outstripped the home side’s xG by a healthy margin. Amerwich United found the target repeatedly; Haret Park found it twice, and one of those became a goal.
