For Hed Park, the record lists no players rated 7.0 or higher, and the team’s limited attacking output makes that unsurprising. The 0-8 scoreline was a complete away win, supported by both a large advantage in shot volume and unusually ruthless conversion. Hercomne Town’s 5.05 xG suggests the attack created enough to justify a major victory; scoring eight made the afternoon even harsher for the hosts. The visitors leave with three hat-trick scorers’ worth of damage shared between two players, a creative display from Mehmed Subašić, and a result that required no interpretive help.
