Rishorth Town had the territorial edge and converted enough of it to take all three points, but Waton Stanley’s two goals made the hosts work for the result rather than merely manage it. The score finished 3-2, matching the balance of the afternoon: Rishorth Town created more, both sides were unusually productive with their chances, and the final word belonged to Boon.
