Brourne City will take the point, and the evidence of a lively opening, though the xG balance leaves little doubt that the visitors had enough opportunity to win. Sketfielke Park recovered from the early deficit, had three players booked, and kept pushing until Coulibaly Yao made the pressure count. The final 2-2 is a fair record of the goals, if not of the chances: Brourne City made more of fewer openings, while Sketfielke Park left a substantial portion of its attack on the wrong side of the finish.
