The match’s shape is worth noting: the sides shared possession and corners, and Seley Town even finished with slightly higher pass accuracy. Yet Flingtoxet recorded 18 tackles to the visitors’ five and generated 12 shots against one. Those figures suggest a contest in which equal time on the ball did not mean equal influence over where the play became dangerous. Seley Town’s single shot on target offered little chance of changing the direction of the afternoon, while Flingtoxet kept finding ways to turn attacks into attempts.

The first two goals gave Flingtoxet a cushion before the interval, but the late sequence made the result emphatic rather than merely comfortable. Almiron struck again in the 71st minute, Ivanov followed six minutes later, and Robinson added the fifth a minute after David Pearce was booked. Flingtoxet finished with a 5-0 win, while Seley Town’s possession and passing numbers served as a reminder that control of the ball and control of the match are related, but not the same thing.
