East Bouth 2 - 2 Sallastle

East Bouth and Sallastle shared a 2-2 draw after Philippe Robert put the hosts two goals ahead and the visitors made their superior chance volume count late on. Sallastle had more shots and the stronger xG, but the scoreboard required a second-half recovery rather than a comfortable afternoon.

For East Bouth, Robert’s two finishes were enough to make the lead feel well-earned, but not enough to keep it safe. The hosts made fewer attempts and committed more fouls and tackles, while Sallastle carried the greater share of the attacking work and found its way back with goals in the 73rd and 80th minutes. The result leaves both sides with a point: East Bouth can take encouragement from Robert’s decisive contribution, while Sallastle will know that its pressure produced a recovery, even if the chance count promised more. In the end, a two-goal cushion lasted for 11 minutes; football has a talent for making that sound both brief and rather consequential.
