The 4-1 scoreline was supported by Sall City’s advantage in possession, shots and passing accuracy, though the match was not a one-sided procession from the first whistle: Mihail Velichkov’s 16' equaliser put Stray level after Greg Dawson’s early strike. Sall City then answered with three second-half goals, while Stray’s six corners and seven shots on target show that the visitors continued to find ways forward. The decisive difference was what each side made of its attacking work. Sall City converted pressure into four goals; Stray left with one, a yellow card for Darren Evans, and the sort of xG total that usually promises a more comfortable afternoon than the result allowed.
