The early goal gave Wicay City a foothold, but Stalersford restored parity eight minutes later and then kept pressing until the match was decisively theirs. The second Martinez goal put the visitors ahead after the break; Anderson extended the lead, and Martinez completed his hat-trick in the 83rd minute. For Wicay City, four yellow cards and only three total shots tell a blunt story of a side spending much of the afternoon trying to resist rather than build. The 1-4 scoreline was emphatic, and the shot count explains why it was so difficult to change the course of the game.
