The early exchange set the terms, but the second half showed the same stubborn balance in a less hurried form: Gosselin put Cherigh Town ahead at 50', and Fischer answered five minutes later. Cherigh Town’s advantages in shots, tackles and possession did not produce separation, while Gordwickpood’s efficiency could not quite carry them beyond a draw. With six goals and five yellow cards, this was not a quiet afternoon, though the final score gives both sides an equal share of the points and leaves the xG doing its best to explain why the busier side did not win.
